Keep absorbent paper nearby and work on a clean, stable surface with good ventilation. Wear suitable protective gloves when handling concentrated aromatic materials and avoid contact with eyes, skin and finished surfaces.

Use a suitable perfumery solvent when preparing alcohol-based study dilutions. Do not assume that every natural extract dissolves identically; some dense materials may need gentle warming, time or a different compatible diluent. Record the solvent and concentration for every vial.

Keep raw materials away from children, pets, heat and direct sunlight. Close bottles promptly: evaporation and oxidation can change both the material and the formula you are trying to reproduce.

2. Choose three to five materials with distinct jobs
