from now on my favorite scent :) in the diffuser together with clove a lovely Christmas scent, at the same time I made a shower gel out of it right away. I recommend to have it on hand always.

  • About essentail oil

Cinnamon essential oil is a powerful and aromatic oil extracted from the bark or leaves of the cinnamon tree, primarily Cinnamomum verum (also known as Cinnamomum zeylanicum). Known for its warm, spicy, and invigorating scent, the oil is often associated with feelings of comfort and coziness.

Cinnamon essential oil is obtained through steam distillation or, in the case of the bark oil, a solvent extraction process. Its main active component, cinnamaldehyde, gives the oil its distinct aroma and contributes to its potential therapeutic effects.

Due to its antimicrobial and antibacterial properties, cinnamon essential oil is sometimes used to help support a healthy immune system and maintain a clean environment. It can be added to natural cleaning products or diffused to help purify the air.

In aromatherapy, cinnamon essential oil is known to stimulate the senses, uplift the mood, and enhance focus. Its warm aroma can create a welcoming atmosphere, especially during colder months.

Cinnamon essential oil should be used with caution and properly diluted before skin application. It has a high potency and can be irritating to the skin if not diluted adequately. A patch test is recommended before using it on larger areas of skin.

Cinnamon essential oil is sometimes used for its potential digestive benefits. When diluted and applied to the abdomen, it may help soothe discomfort and support healthy digestion.
