Blending recipes
Begin with small aromatic studies, record every drop and discover how one careful adjustment can reshape the whole blend.

The idea to remember
Prepare three labelled blotters for the individual materials and one for the finished accord. Build the formula in a small clean vial, cap it, roll gently and note the total number of drops.
Smell immediately, then after one hour and the next day. If you adjust, change only one material by one drop and create a new version rather than altering your only record.
Your practical method
Use clean vials, pipettes or reducers, blotters and a dated formula page.
Add base, then heart, then top notes; count aloud and check each line.
Cap and roll gently. Step away before judging the next change.
Give every version a code and write the exact drops, total and evaluation times.
Three principal blend concepts
Each recipe makes a 10-drop aromatic concentrate for evaluation on a scent strip or in a closed study vial. It is not a ready-to-apply skin product.
Rebuild your chosen accord as version B. Change only one ingredient by one drop while keeping the total at 10—reduce another ingredient by one drop. Compare A and B on separate blotters after one hour.
